High purity fused quartz labware have very low trace element content which permits bacteriological, microbiological and other laboratory work to be run virtually free of vessel-source leaching contamination that can cause spurious test results and costly test reruns.

Molded from PyroQuartz®, a semiconductor grade clear fused quartz, Pyromatics products are 99.9995% minimum purity silica glass. Orders of magnitude more pure than conventional laboratory glassware, PyroQuartz labware permits ultra-controlled environments free of contaminants found at percentage levels in borosilicate glassware such as aluminum, calcium, magnesium, sodium, potassium, lithium, iron, boron and phosphorus, etc.

The uniform wall thickness assures durability and long life. Thermal shock resistance makes our Labware ideal for rapid heating and cooling over a wide range of temperatures without cracking or failure. They will not sag or distort at temperatures to 1100°C and are capable of exposure temperatures above 1100°C for short excursions. In addition they are not affected thermally or chemically by standard laboratory methods of sterilization [wet or dry]. PyroQuartz has superior thermal stability and corrosion resistance under standard and difficult operating conditions.
High purity quartz chips are also available in a range of sizes for use in your laboratory.
